Guy with a truck boston

My name is Ned and my truck is a great Mazda B He handles almost anything thrown at it and he does it with a rugged toughness to get the job done. So, I started doing this for people a couple years ago, the inspiration came from my aunt while I was talking to her. She is a great woman and has always been good to me and my siblings and sharing the things her and her family have, and I offered to help her move anything if she ever needed it instead of needing to hire someone, or deal with store delivery. She thanked me and then said the following which stuck with me:. They either do nothing, or they go rent a truck.

The whole insurance is a scam, which I'm sure you know because you do it in such a way on purpose. I had denied already the insurance and upon picking up somehow it got surreptitiously charged to my bill.

Bullshit thieves. The Cashier and the gentleman who cleaned the van was very polite and made sure the van was clean and. Went over paper work compared to where the mileage and gas gage were do I can make sure that everything matched up. When I returned the van office was closed he was on his way home and took time to help me return key.

He showed were the gas gage showed good. Mileage within contract. I was calm and felt they treated me with respect and took out time to make sure I was pleased. Headline pricing is very misleading. Wait times sucked. Only 1 working. The mileage is a mess. I know I submitted the actual mileage before I left. Not very happy. I had problems with the rear door. After it was explained it worked better. One time the door opened while driving. Theres literally 4 parking spots for customers.

All were taken so we had to occupy a handicap spot momentarily. The truck I ordered and had checked in wasn't ready. It took awhile for the location find the keys and when I finally received it, I had to return to the location to have a padlock removed.

Make sure vans are cleaned and disinfect before giving to the next customer, the van I had was disgusting, it smelled it had white stuff in the dashboard, but I got a couple of bucks taking off for inconvenience but they should be cleaned. And the parking lot was full of hyperdermic needles all over the Uhaul property. The after hours fee for return is ridiculous. It was never mentioned to me, and I even told the attendant that I would be dropping it off after hours.

It was only a trailer that I rented. I never did get clear instruction of what to do by the staff when I did pick up the tuck I rented. Managed a crowd well with social distance guidelines.

Staff was friendly and helpful. This is always my go to Uhaul spot. She would yell at me, then when I was answering she would turn around and start talking to someone else, ignoring me. Extremely rude. I asked her to look at the email since all the information was there and she treated me like I was stupid saying that the email did not say that without reading it.

So rude, such a waste of time, last time I ever rent from u-haul. One guy training another guy teaching him how to do things very poorly would recommend a better trainer some who cares about the job other then a paycheck. Staff dealing with customers while on a desk and Cellphones out on desk streaming social media crap, no one greeting customers other staff making calls to customers for pick while lobby full of customers in a line half way to the door.

Only great guy who cares and stood out to me as a great person to talk to was the guy loading the trailers. To have the amount of people on the clock 8 employees inside all horrible. Only helpful guy was the guy outside!!! Guy who helped me outside needs a raise, more hours, gift cards a bottle blue label something to show you guys car about your employees. Do something you like. This review also going on google for location. Set everything up for contact-less service, however, when I arrived, the truck was locked.

The application froze and would not continue to process my order and I had to go inside to then spend a few minutes while they completed everything. Truck smelt like cigarettes covered in air-sol.

That was cool. Returning the vehicle was easy, fast, and the employee we Interacted with professional and kind. Picking up the vehicle however this located was doing a terrible job of social distancing. During pick-up two separate employees I believe with the best intentions came Up within 1 ft of me with their masks around their neck. Everyone was very kind and polite, but just seemed oblivious to the need to make changes to their process. The unit seems to have a opening on the top which in cause all my furniture to get wet due to the rainy day.

They forgot to include the 2 dozen packing pads I had ordered so my mover had to go pick them up. The equipment were not at the truck at the time of pick up and had to wait for them to be loaded. Had to wait for an agent yo get the key while the whole process was suppose to be contactless!!

One agent at the location was very rude. I extended my reservation from 5 to 9, and after I drop of the car before 9, the next day I was being charged twice for dolly and insurance. They said they did not receive anything about the extension. Also I called the branch and tried to see what if going on. I called three times and the manager said he would look at this situation.

And he never called me back. All three times. It looks to me they are just stalling. View more reviews. Yes, We're Open! U-Haul is here to help. Learn More. Get Rates. Pickups Small jobs.
