How do i love my husband unconditionally
It will do wonders for your marriage. Meet Don. Puzzled, Don considered her question for a long minute before answering. While most of us men would never make a blunder of that magnitude, we often miss the opportunity to affirm our wives. Marriage is not a spectator sport. Nor is it a place for verbal jabs or cynical put-downs.SEE VIDEO BY TOPIC: Men Love and Lead Your Wives

How to Love Your Spouse Unconditionally
We live in a culture that has taken the God-given gift of love and redefined it to be little more than a feeling.
Love, by its very nature, is a conscious choice to selflessly put the needs of someone else ahead of your own preferences or comforts. No relationship can survive unless it is rooted in rock-solid commitment. As a pastor, I have the privilege of officiating wedding ceremonies. One of the Bible passages I often read at wedding ceremonies comes from the first chapter of the Book of Ruth. It reads:. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.
Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. This beautiful promise was expressed in a much-unexpected way. The story gives us some fascinating insight into the power of commitment in all healthy relationships.
Ruth was a young, Moabite woman who lived around three thousand years ago. Though Ruth could do as she wished, she refused to leave her mother-in-law, Naomi.
This rich kinsman-redeemer married Ruth, and together, they started a family. Their lineage became a generational line of love. Ruth and Boaz had a son named Obed who had a son named Jesse, who had a son named David. The town was called Bethlehem and Mary was expecting a child. She gave birth to a son named Jesus, who was the son of God. He was the Prince of Peace and the embodiment of love. God brought his son through the lineage of a poor young woman named Ruth, who understood the power of commitment and the meaning of love.
God wants to create a generational impact through your life and marriage as well. For additional tools to help build your faith and your marriage, please download our free Day Marriage Devotional at DaveAndAshleyWillis. Don't miss out.

Respecting Your Husband Unconditionally
The idea of unconditional love in relationships is a noble one. Each of us wants to be loved as we are, without conditions, and to see ourselves as capable of bestowing unconditional love on our partners. However, this type of love, in its narrowest definition, is difficult, if not impossible. Part of the problem with unconditional love in relationships is the lack of understanding of what it means.
Have you ever found yourself irritated with your spouse — not liking him or her very much — even though you know you love your spouse? Most of us have had those days! No two people can live together for any length of time without once in awhile rubbing each other the wrong way. If you let those feelings of hurt or disappointment take over — your marriage will suffer. You will create a rift in your relationship.

7 Things You Can Do With Your Partner Early On To Establish Unconditional Love
Sometimes loving our husbands can be difficult. Many times we expect a fairytale perfection from our spouses and we forget to love them for who God made them to be. Can you delight in your husband and rejoice over him simply because of who he is and who God is working on him to be? God calls us to express unconditional love in our relationships, and it will not happen without effort and sacrifice. The kind of love that lasts for a lifetime is one that has God at the center, with both individuals focusing on being more like Him and shedding their own selfishness.
But when it comes to respect, most of us think of it as an attitude towards someone that is earned. Yet God, in His wisdom, is so countercultural when it comes to marriage. Rather than give us permission to care for one another conditionally, He instructs husbands to love unconditionally and we all cheer for that and we as wives to respect unconditionally did you cringe?
